panes can be a pain

The before pic is before i move the panes around. After is what I get when I try to get them like they were before I moved them. How do I get them like the before pic?

click the little stick pin just to the left of the "x" in the launchpad titlebar
Good design costs a lot. Bad design costs even more.

That stick pin only causes it to become a tab. I figured it out. when having more than one window open, ie, lauch pad and data view, use the arrows that appear on screen. da If you are in the rung side and hit the down arrow that appears on screen, it puts data view at the bottom of that section. If you drag data view to far left and press down arrow that appears on screen, it splits the two and both appear the way I want.
