In retrospect we probably should have made analog channels be dwords. if you use nicknames, you can create the doc record for the element with the cast included (WY14:U instead of WY14) and you get the full cast every time you enter that nickname. We intentionally limited the unipolar range to 15 bits in BRX because we figured you valued you sanity more than the extra bit of resolution.
