Retentive coil memory

Hello, I have a DirectSOFT / C-More question. I have an application where I need certain C-More switches to remember their state after power has been shut off. Unless there's a way to set this up in the C-More itself I was thinking I'd use the retentive range of bits in the DL260 (C1000 - C1777 by default). My plan is to turn the toggled pushbuttons to momentary-on indicator buttons and use them to trigger a flip-flop circuit. My question is; will I have to use set and reset coils or will normal coils stay in a retentive state? This matters because there are 72 of these switches (not my idea) and the less logic needed per button the better.
Thanks.

Sorry I just went through the post and saw this. Yeah, I did something simular using the Ibox, PushOn/PushOff. Works great. The machne had to remember what set up it had when powered off and them powered back on. I used 8 of them and no problems.

I forgot the rest of my post. Do not forget to use the retentive C-bits. I used C1000, c1001, etc. The controlling bits can be anything you like.
