Allow "." in file name

Hello,

It would be nice to be able to have a "." in the file name when saving a project.
I usually like to name my projects like the following:
CustomerName-(ProjectVersion).dmd   ie. UniAlberta-v2.1.dmd

DMD will not allow me to have the "." in the version number when saving the project.
It errors with something like "files can only have the extension .dmd ..."
