DnetUDP for LabVIEW
« on: June 09, 2014, 03:56:18 PM »
Is the DnetUDP LabVIEW application that is available for download from the Host Engineering website compatible with the Do-More PLC's?  If so, is it possible to access the new datatypes (R and D in particular) using DnetUDP?

Non-secured protocols like Modbus and the traditional DL protocols are limited to accessing 'guest' memories. I'm not familiar with the example you are referring to, but I am certain that if it is doing any form of DL over UDP, it will be limited to DLV, DLC, DLX, and DLY memories. Use PUBLISH and/or SUBSCRIB as appropriate to move data between native Do-more memories and guest memories.
