PLC error

I have a new T1H-DM1E that shows an error.(see attached)Unfortunately it is not pointing to exactly what the error is. On the front of the CPU the "stat" light is red. In the hardware user manual it shows that there should be an "err" light at this location. If the "err" light is red then "CPU fatal error"

I'd say you have the I/O config set to manual and it doesn't match the actual config.

The Terminator CPU only has 6 LEDs on it, so we ended up using the ERR LED for something additional (battery, I think) so we changed the label to STATus. It is the same function as before, but I guess the manual needs a touch up.

We're looking into why the I/O status view isn't showing what I believe to be an I/O mismatch. It should be...

I'd say you were correct. What was in the rack matched the manual congig but apparently one of the output cards was not seated. I switched it to auto config and the picture did not match what was actually there.
I had selected manual because I developed the logic without the hardware being present. I am using Ethernet IO for some VFDs and I think this was the only way to add them. The other reason was that there is an analog input that has some discrete inputs. I wanted to make sure where these were going to be mapped. Please advise if there is a better way of doing this.

If you don't have actual hardware, that's really the best way. It is a little clunky, but I'm not really sure what I would change.

Another PLC error

So I have another Do-More that is giving me an error and this one is saying two bad analog cards. I have replaced the base and both cards.  The analog cards are working I can see active signals.

I'd say it is just channel warnings Henry. They need to be disabled or properly terminated. Do-more is just more proactive in telling these things.
