No, I haven't seen specs on the 265, but what BobO posted here was about what I was assuming. Little faster, higher memory version of a 260, maybe a few added instructions. IOW, like extrapolating the differences between a 250 and a 260.
But in essence, it's just a slightly bigger, better DL-classic CPU. The quantitative difference between say a 260 and a DM (speed, memory, etc) is huge, and yet the qualitative advantages are much bigger yet. It's just a completely different animal. You really have to try one. And as I said before, that comes from someone for whom the DL-classic line was tied for first (with AB) as my most used PLC, which shows both that I liked them well and was very experienced in applying them.
