The newest additions to the Do-more Family include the T1H-DM1 and T1H-DM1E CPUs for Terminator I/O.  Both CPUs contain a USB programming port and an RJ-12 RS-232 serial port. The T1H-DM1E model also has a built-in Ethernet port.  To view the detailed specifications of these new CPUs, click here:

General information on the new Do-more Terminator I/O series, I/O modules, Specialty modules, Power Supplies, ...

Terminator is a well-established I/O platform, released in 2001. This is the first PLC CPU for this I/O platform (all previous CPUs were for direct I/O control only, with no built-in ladder logic support).  The local Terminator Base can support up to 16 I/O modules, including Terminator I/O’s high density analog modules. At up to 16 channels per module, the local base can support up to 256 Analog points (the T1H-DM1E can also support 16 slaves of Ethernet I/O for up to 4,000 I/O points).

These new CPUs can be programmed using the latest version of Do-more Designer 1.2, which is a free download available here:

For a detailed list of all the new features added to Do-more 1.2, there is a 3MByte Updates.pdf file available here: http://forum.hosteng.com/wndm/updates.pdf.

Here are some highlights:
  • Terminator I/O Do-more CPUs - the latest additions to the Do-more PLC family, T1H-DM1 and T1H-DM1E.
  • Online Memory Data Import/Export Utility - an online utility that reads data-block bit and numeric values from your Do-more PLC and dumps them into text file in readable form (.CSV), which can be easily imported by your favorite spreadsheet or database program, text editor, or back into Designer and written back down into your Do-more PLC.
  • DEVREAD/DEVWRITE - Read/Write Device Registers allow you to monitor or dynamically configure any serial port via ladder logic (built-in or SERIO/4 module), like baud rate, Modbus/RTU Slave Unit ID, et. al.  See Updates.pdf for more details.
  • Cross Reference View - new sticky button lets you fully expand ranged parameters or not, limit the view's scope to just the parameters inside the current instruction.
  • PLC Offline Setup dialog - lets you change the Project’s PLC Type when offline.  Great for when you want to try something out on the Simulator, then want to make it run on a the new T1H-DM1E PLC or other Do-more hardware.
  • Do-more CPU type, part number, and serial number available via image register elements (DST29, PartNum, and SerialNum).
  • There are a few more features added in Do-more 1.2.  For a complete list, including all the features added in Do-more 1.1, see the Updates.pdf file for more details.
