UDT instances editable in Memory View
« on: February 19, 2021, 01:15:24 PM »
I created a UDT, then made a memory block of that type.    If I open that memory block in Memory view, I can't seem to get it out of read-only mode to edit individual members.

Is there a step I'm overlooking, or is this the current design?   If it is the current design, is it practical to make them editable?  I hate to have to go back to a Data View.
I retract my earlier statement that half of all politicians are crooks.  Half of all politicians are NOT crooks.  There.

The 2.8 Structure based Memory View is READONLY.  We hope to add field editing capabilities to the next version.

So, yes, you have to use Data View or Change Value to edit.   :(

Am currently trying to do this. Hopefully it gets included.
