If your "set points" are a part of your "retentive data", that can be done via the BACKUP instruction to the SD card.
Note that the full retentive data set can NOT be a "snapshot" at a specific instance in time since it takes MULTIPLE PLC scans to backup all that data to the SD card. Hence, the full set of backed up values will probably not represent a consistent "state".
But if the subset of your retentive data that represents what you call "set points" are NOT changing when you are performing the BACKUP instruction, you basically WILL have a "snapshot" of your "set points".
There is an option in the Additional Content group in the BACKUP instruction to Include Retentive Memory Values. Just check that.
