Hi Greq, Just a comment on saying you would like us to use the on-board Ethernet on the Do-More.
The following is only when using external I/O. It is not a good idea to use the same port to program, have the HMI and external I/O. If the port crashes for some reason it is dangerous to have external I/O go down too. It just give a little more protection.
At least that was what I was always told. Is there any plans to make a similar Ecom for Do-More or just now thinking about it, use the ERM module. I think I just answered my own question.  ::)

The new platform has an option slot where the USB port currently is existing DM1x CPUs. There are a handful of port options for that including Ethernet. It isn't as fast as the internal Ethernet port, but more than adequate for programming and HMI. So yes, we do have a plan to make this easier.

On existing hardware, it would be preferable to use an H2-ECOM100 for programming and HMI and use the internal Ethernet port for I/O.
