My Windows 10 laptop got automatically updated to build 1607. When it finalized the install it popped up a message saying that it removed netedit3 because it was no longer compatible with this version of Windows. It is possible to revert to a previous build in windows 10 which I did. Then netedit3 was back in business. However, longer term this poses as problem as it was evident that Microsoft is making changes to their OS that will prevent Netedit3 as is from being used.

That's weird. I run Win10 and build NetEdit on Win10. Not sure what they'd be fussing about, unless it's the fact that we try to set the lowest compatibility level in the build for the oldest viable Windows version, which is probably still WinXP. Regardless, NetEdit isn't going anywhere...we'll make sure compatible versions are available.
