Title: Do More Working with DS5?
Post by: Schmu @ Maxam on September 19, 2012, 09:56:03 PM
I have my plant running about 11 different D2-260's communicating with each other with ECOM100's. I want to try a Do More on one of these. My stations relay information between them using ECRX & ECWX commands. If I change one to a Do More, can it still RX/WX info to the other stations if they remain 260's or do I have to upgrade and rewrite everything? Thanks in advance!

Do-more supports all the legacy DL comm via the DLRX and DLWX instructions.  It even has MRX/MWX for Modbus reads/writes.  You can use any of those out the local Ethernet port on a H2-DM1E, or out an ECOM100 module, which is supported by the H2-DM1/H2-DM1E CPUs.
