quote from BobO in a post updated in February : Best guess for product on the shelf is June.
SO, any news?

The H2-CTRIO2 is rolling out with the new PLC. Both are currently in the launch system at ADC. I am not going to give the date publicly for fear of lynching, but I will say it is in Q3.
I will also mention that in the context of the new PLC, CTRIO2 is sexy. You'll like it...

Will the new CTRIO2 be compatible with the existing processors such as the 260CPU?
Also, what will the scan time be for the Preset Tables outputs?
I have an application where I am trying to take repeated photographs of something cycling at up to 3000RPM, but the .6mS scan time on the existing CTRIO is causing each image to "float" around in the frame about 10-15degrees from picture to picture. If I can get this down to about 4-5 degrees I think the customer would be happy with it.
Thanks!

It will work with the DL260...but it really loves the new CPU...which conveniently is being released at the same time. ;)
With a fairly lightweight configuration (2 counters no scaling), the one in my base right now has a ~165us scan time. Load it up with more functions and some scaling and it might run 250us. I would think your numbers are very close to where you would be with the CTRIO2.
