I can ping your ECOM, but I can't browse to it (ECOMS DO have an HTTP server, don't they?), nor can I set up a link in DSLaunch that will find it. Is there a step-by step? I assuming I'm skipping or overlooking something.

ECOM100 yes, ECOMs no.

Which one do you have accessible? Also is there a step-by-step somewhere that I can review and try to figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Sorry, I did not realize you meant Host's ecom module on THE Internet. I don't know. I'll try to find out.

I'm 95% sure it's an ECOM module, not an ECOM100 module - that's why you cannot browse to it (there's no http interface on ECOM, just ECOM100)

Oh, sorry, I actually almost referred to it by its IP address but it seemed a little overboard.

Oh, OK. Can't seem to get a working link configured either, though.

Bump up your timeouts to 500ms. Manually tweak the time out value in the ADVANCED settings dialog.
Link Editor, Port tab, Ethernet device, UDP/IP protocol, IP address 12.69.41.166, hit the ADVANCED SETTINGS button and set the timeout there.

I thought I had already extended the timeout, but that must be it, because it works now. Thanks!

The base has one of each, so it must be the ECOM that's connected to the interwebs.
