Title: Required feature or support levels not installed

I am tring to open an existing project and I get this error..

Directsoft recognizes the document XXXXXXXXXX.PRJ, but the required features or support levels are not installed.

Any Ideas?

You probably have the older version of Directsoft which only supported certain CPUs. Upgrade to the current software which supports all the DL CPUs.

It could be what b_carlton says or:

• Your project is corrupt to the point that DirectSOFT cannot read the PLC Type field in the project header - If this is the case you might try using File --> Export --> Program... and then closing DirectSOFT, reopening, and then using File --> Import --> Program... to see if the corruption gets cleared up.
• You are trying to open an online project with DirectSOFT5 but you have v4 of the CommServer running. In other words, you have an old LookoutDirect that uses v4 CommServer, or something like DSData that uses the old v4 CommServer. One of the solutions is to make sure you start DirectSOFT5 first (which loads v5 CommServer) because the other applications (LookoutDirect / DSData) will work with v5 CommServer.
