Just a quick note that we just had our first production implementation that used an ECOM100 to a DL06 over modbusTCP!
Thanks Host Engineering for helping us make it happen.
Your support gets a gold star from me.
Our Windows application is currently polling control relays at 10 times a second.
(Although I have tested the ECOM100 at 300 times a second, and I think the bottleneck was me)
We also set control relays as appropriate and read a scale in order to ultimately accurately load hot asphalt.
We ended up writing our own modbustcp interface in clarion, our environment.
Coming from using Opto22 AC5 cards with relay racks to using a PLC was great.
We are hoping ModBusTCP will provide greater flexibilty and longevity over proprietary drivers and DLLs.
All that and a T-Shirt. 8)

Hope the T-shirt fits. ;D
