Title: Use of LVDT for closed loop feedback versus rotary Encoder

Good afternoon,
Is there any information for using an LVDT transducer with a 4-20mA analog output signal instead of a standard rotary style encoder for the closed-loop feedback
for a single Axis setup configured within Do-more? It appears if I'm reading correctly that you need to use a standard pulsed rotary encoder for the position/velocity feedback input?
The application we are using it on has a Hydraulic cylinder with an integrated 4-20mA LVDT transducer analog feedback and the cylinder is being controlled by a +/-10vdc
hydraulic proportional valve. Thanks in advance!
