Hi Folks, I am trying DNLoader for the first time, to upload a program from DS-340 of the DL-305 series into my laptop.
Can DNLoader communicate with the DS-340? Because the DNLoader write-up on this site doesn't list it among the PLCs that DNLoader works with. The closest is the DS-350.

DN-Loader is short for DirectNET Loader, one of the protocols utilized by all of the DirectLOGIC PLCs, including the DL-340.

Well, I misspoke. DNLoader also utilizes K-Sequence protocol (not exclusively DirectNET), which the 340 does NOT support, hence it DNLoader is NOT compatible with the DL-340.

And you misspoke again... ;)
It supports DirectNet *OR* KSequence, the DN is DirectNet, but it only supports more modern Koyo CPUs: 05, 105, 205, 350, and 405. The original 305 line was an entirely different beast which we never added support for.

Thank you, BobO. No wonder the 340 is not in the list of support PLCs.
This being the case, the only hope of uploading and downloading DS-340 programs is to use the DS6?

That or find a handheld programmer.

Thank you!
