We have Gefrans inclination sensor 0-10vdc output to an analog input on a BRX36. We are seeing the input bounce around so much that a machine won?t run. My choice would have been 4-20 ma but I bought the sensor the day AD introduced it. Any way to reduce the noise? Maybe a filter cap, inductor?
System is in Romania! We made a mistake not using shielded cable because it runs through an energy chain along with wiring for a pair of DC servos.

For onboard inputs you can use the FILTER instruction. Modules can filter on the module itself.

We use that function all the time. However I wasn?t the programmer on this one so I don?t know and will have to check on that.
Thanks,
