Title: Simultaneous axis motion

I am aware of using a virtual axis to synch two axis of motion.  However is it possible to run two axis at the same time un-synched?  Building a grooving lathe with a pick and place and would like to return the picker while grooving is occuring.  On another machine trying to run two axis at the same time is resulting in the ClearPath Servos reporting step errors.

On this lathe project we also have two High Speed IO modules because there are 7 axis total.  If the two axis we want to run at the same time are on different high speed IO does that solve the problem?

What exactly is the problem? Because two axes should be able to run simultaneously since they are asynchronous by definition.

Apparently the bias resistors recommended by Teknics loaded the high speed outputs too much and caused missed steps. Higher value resistors 5k instead of 1k solved it.
