Title: Does this look like busy network?
Post by: davidbgtx on April 29, 2021, 10:22:20 AM
Don't know much of networking, does this look like it's very busy (from wireshark).
Netedit shows 15 H2-DM1E, 14 H2-WPLC, 13 H2-EBC100, 6 H2-EBC, 4 H2-ERM, 4 HO-ECOM, 3 BX-DM1E, 5 DuraPLS3-100, 1 T1EBC100, and 1 connection to a sql server for data storage.

Are you having issues?

Yes, but only with 1 H2-DM1E Modbus communication to a H2-WPLC (which I have about 4 setup this way), pretty sure it's a ethernet cable or jack issue. But it made me curious if my traffic was very heavy.

The graph shows next to nothing: 8 packets per second peak, if I'm reading it right. Can't imagine it's really that low, but of so, that's not much.

Thanks, that's how I read it, guess my Stride unmanaged switches and Host's products work great at keeping traffic low. Thanks
