Title: Script error from DS5 during laptop start up
Post by: neil85 on October 24, 2008, 06:01:20 PM
Im having an issue where i recently did an upgrade to the DS 5.3.  Now when it seems that when i start the laptop i get ActiveX issues and then script errors relating to DS.

Anyone else ever seem to have this issue?  i am wondering if i should just reinstall the software or run the upgrade again?

computer is running XP if that would ever make a difference?

This is a some issue with InstallShield (notice the URL pathname) on your PC. I don't know how to fix the actual error (I did some searching to no avail on InstallShield's website), but you can turn this OFF by going to Start --> Settings --> Control Panel and clicking on the Program Updates (or Automatic Updates) icon and then select the option you want. You must be Admin to do this.

Hope that helps!
