Title: Recommendations for Simulator Transition to Hardware Project
Post by: RBPLC on January 26, 2020, 08:01:20 PM
What is the best (recommended) way to create a project in DmD simulator and then transition that project to real hardware? Are there any specific things to plan/watch out for when initially generating a simulator project with the intent to transition it to a hardware based project?

With the simulator, I/O is generic.  There is no difference between a high speed input vs. an A/C input, or a current analog input vs. a voltage analog input.

I would not worry about it that much, however.  There is a search/replace function in Designer.  It even has a "swap" capability, and also can copy/swap documentation, not just elements used in logic.
