Title: POM Modules

Can I use a BRX PLC as an ethernet switch by utilizing an ethernet POM module? (the PLC has an existing ethernet port which is being used.)

Not really.   You could use it as a retransmitter or protocol convertor for any of the protocols it supports with some programming effort, but it is not a switch.
