I am wondering if you'll are ever going to make a release of DMD for the Linux OS platform?

I personally would like to dump the Windows platform.

I know their is software to run Linux under Windows but I would prefer to just completely dump Windows platform.

If it was just a simple re-compile, we would do it. But Windows API and Linux GUI (is there ONE, I think there are a bunch) are completely incompatible.  Hence it would need to be almost a complete re-write, not a re-compile.  Hence, the short answer is, sorry, no.

We've gotten the same request for Mac OS.  Same issues, same answer.
