Hey Everyone,
Ive been in the Automation Game about 10 years now and I'm looking to step up what I know and to prove that I have the knowledge to step up my game. Im looking at working on getting my ISA CAP Certification.
Anyone here have any advice? Things I should know about the process.
I'm looking to prove to prospective employers that I have the skills to do the job. Right now I don't have a degree, mostly due to the insane hours Ive worked in my current job, so I sometimes have a disadvantage against other competitors out in the job market.

I feel for your situation. I have never been a paper collector and I have a really broad skill set as I started working with my electrician dad when I was 10 and I?m 65 now. After leaving the family business that I ran for 6 years it was really hard changing jobs. Always had to start near the bottom and then moved up fairly quick when they saw what I could do. So I?d say any paper you collect will be helpful. Not finishing college was the worse mistake I made.

college prices have gotten insane in the last decade, and at this stage I'm not sure if the cost will be worth the benefits. But trade certs are much more cost friendly.
