Title: pid without a degree
Post by: maciek74 on November 21, 2018, 06:21:11 AM
First why wouldn't there be any videos of entire pid set up from start to finish , there is videos for everything else.
Second if i want to to go to multiple set points can that be done with one pid, and how would i do going to lets 400 deg. in 10 degree increments a minute.

I agree completely. Host doesn't make the videos or set the development priorities though. All I can do is ask.

Sure. Look at RAMPSOAK.

Look at the Start Page of the example project PID1.dmd.  The Start Page describes how to control a basic oven.  It utilizes the Simulator, which can simulate a process like an oven.

Look in the Examples\Do-more Simulator\ folder under the Projects folder.

There is an excellent post where Bobo explained the PID in detail. That super helped me a lot. I am not sure where the post is. It is not too old of a post if you search.
