Title: DO-More with Maple Systems HMI
Post by: timk on August 17, 2018, 02:21:53 PM
Anyone had experiences good or bad with using a Maple Systems HMI5043 with the Do-More PLC
There website indicates that it must be connected using the Ethernet Port on the PLC, If so the PLC could not be on a network.

Thanks

The PLC can do both at the same time. It isn't ideal, but it isn't a killer.

If the PLC is a BRX, you can add a 2nd Ethernet port with an ECOMLT POM.

A lot of their displays are made by Weintek. Check for a native DoMore protocol if you want to get greater access to memory in the Domore. Otherwise, I am sure they have Modbus or the Koyo/AD protocols. I think the programing package is free. I would download it first and try it out before committing.
