Title: Link Editor
Post by: ATU on June 28, 2018, 01:35:01 PM
Uninstalled 2.2 and installed 2.3.  Can't setup an Ethernet link. When I go to select the Adapter, Only Default is an option. Yet, when I open up NetEdit3, I get all the adapters on the dropdown and can see the PLC out there. See photo. I don't know how to get past this.

Not sure.  Try rebooting.

If that doesn't work, you may need to reinstall 2.3 (try right click/Run As Admin on the Setup exe), although I am not sure if that will actually fix it.

Tried all that.  I think its strange that it works for NETEDIT3 and not the link editor

2.2 and 2.3 should have worked the same.  Hmmm...  :(

I was able to modify the IP address from a link created in 2.2 and be able to use it, but I still can't create a new link.

Deleted and reinstalled the Network Adapter Card driver. Somehow it had 2 IP addresses assigned.
