Version 2.2 Do-more Designer is now available. (http://support.automationdirect.com/products/domore.html)
Version 2.2 includes the following new features, most of which are available across all of the Do-more PLC platforms: BRX, 205, Terminator, and Windows-based Simulator. You may also need to upgrade your PLC's firmware to Do-more Technology Version 2.2 to utilize some of these PLC features. - Added support for the new DURApulse GS4 Drives. Along with a GS-EDRV100 interface module, GS4 Series drives can be part of your Do-more PLC’s Ethernet I/O network, just like how the GS1, GS2, and GS3 drives work as Ethernet I/O slaves. GSREGRD and GSREGWR instructions support the new GS4’s parameter set.
- EMAIL Configuration lets you specify a named SMTP Server (like smtp.gmail.com) by utilizing DNS.
- BRX and Simulator EMAIL Configuration support secure EMAIL using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and optionally Certificate Validation to ensure the identity of the remote SMTP server (secure EMAIL NOT supported on 205 or Terminator).
- Do-more Designer and its HAPTools now install to the standard Window’s Program Files folder, instead of off the system root folder. The Projects folder is now located within the Designer 2.2 folder below your PC’s Public\Documents folder (or All User\Documents in older Windows versions).
New Instructions
- INI - Immediate Discrete Input - (BRX only) Along with OUTI/SETI/RSETI that can generate clock pulse trains, use INI to read back data from devices that return data based on the generated clock pulse train.
