Title: DoMore 2.0.3 documentation inconsistency
Post by: mhw on June 27, 2017, 10:48:02 AM
I have a block of memory that I use to exchange data with a remote PLC. I am not using all of that block so I want to put a placeholder so that it does not get auto assigned to a tag name. I used DLX340 as the tag name for DLX340. It accepted the name. I think that at one time this was not permitted. I had several blocks that I wanted to do this for and decided it would be easier to do in excel. When I import from excel it gives an error saying that it not permissible.

That is a bug. Yuk. It shouldn't be permitted.

It takes a big man to admit when he has made a mistake. You must be huge. I hope to be as big as you some day.
Thanks!

Mistakes are highly underrated. I have never met anyone that learned something by not making any mistakes. Mostly they are just slow. I was sitting in the purchasing office one time lamenting the fact that I make so many mistakes. The purchasing lady says "So what, you twice as much done around here as anyone else!" Made my day.

The old saying is "The only person that does not make any mistakes is the one that does not do anything!"  ;D
