Title: Outputting data from a DoMore to a remote monitor or HDTV

I have a project to display production data metrics from a DoMore to a large display on the plant floor. I have looked at the ViewMarc panel at AD, and they look to be easy to integrate to my controller. I would actually like a larger display than the largest ViewMarc, and I have a large HD TV here that is still in the box. Im thinking that would be a good option, as the larger message diaplay I have looked at are in the 3-4K range.
So has anyone ever done something like this? And if so, how did it work? Just testing the waters for ideas, I don't want to spend a whole lot of dev time on it... ???

If had to do it I would get a small PC like a Zbox then use this http://www.advancedhmi.com/ software to turn the zbox in to a HMI

I've never really bothered to figure out why, but banner displays are EXPENSIVE.  Not exactly what you want, but there's this thing from KEP that cloudcasts to a mobile device

It seems like I've also seen a display-less equivalent to a hardware HMI that programs similarly, but you supply your own screen.  Found this one from Maple, not sure if that's the one I'd seen before or not.

Here's something from Weintek (most KEP stuff is Weintek, so the cloudcasting thing might actually be the same device even though they don't present it that way)

These items all look identical in the photos, so they're probably all the same or related units.

The other option, like another poster said is to buy a very small PC and a cheap HMI.  I've even seen people Velcro a tiny PC on the back of the monitor.

Thanks for the info. guys! Some great options there. I will have a looks at all of them. Still really in the early stage of this thing.

Saw a PC about the size of a pack of cigarettes at Best Buy before Christmas for like $99.

I used a ViewMarq with a Do-More as a display on the side of a building in a wood yard.
I would do something different if I were to do it again. The ViewMarq, even the largest one, isn't big enough or bright enough to see during the day and it is not watertight or dust-proof.

Does the system currently use a Cmore HMI?  Does it have a need for a HMI?  I'm pretty sure the EA9's have a HDMI output.  You could connect that to a HD TV.

Disclaimer:  I've never done it.  I have used the Cmore's.  And they are pretty easy and intuitive.

Cmore's have a DVI port only on the 12 and 15 inch. The 12 is only 800x600 res. You have to buy the 15 to get 1024x768,
