I have a brand new H2-ECOM100 that is flashing an error on power-up. It alternates blinking between status and error with a very quick Active blink. I tried moving the module to a different base and same problem there. I plugged a different module into the original base and it works fine.
The processor is a DL260. I don't recall ever having to do any type of setup. Usually just use Netedit to configure it but Netedit doesn't even see it. It is in slot 9 but have moved to slot 8 with no change.
I hooked up with a serial cable and got a Fatal error in Directsoft 5. The Error information within System information gives E250 I/O bus failure.

I would check that none of the pins are bent in the mating connector on the module. Beyond that I do not know.

gemini1364, when you say "brand new," do you mean fresh out of the box? Or did it have a configuration before? If the error light is blinking that can actually be a good thing, meaning it is stuck in the booter and can be recovered. If the error light is ON solid that is when things are definitely NOT good; as in, a hardware failure is possible.
There is a tool in DirectSOFT6 called IPConfig. You can double-click on it in DSLaunch in the Utilities. This utility allows you to recover a Host Ethernet device on a network when it is not visible in NetEdit by using only its MAC (Ethernet) Address that is printed on its label. Use the <Help> button to understand how to use it.
