I looking at Do-more for controlling a very fast process. If I put a time constant in the do-more process simulator it would have to be 1 to 2 seconds. With AB the process scan times were as low 5 milliseconds with similar CPU scan times. The Do-more processor speed look adequate but some of the I/O cards look a little slow.
I plan on using the faster analog input cards with fast signal conditioners for some signals.
Does anyone else have experience on very fast processes with do-more? As far as I can tell no one is using Do-more or Automation Direct in my field and so I don't want to leave to much information out here for potential competitors.

The PLC itself should be plenty fast, analog speed is the biggest question. We'll help you any way we can.

thanks bobo. I feel the love, hahaha. I will put some specifics together on converters and which analog cards I would like to use. Your CPU scan times, card up date times and converter update times all have to be fast.
