Is it possible for the firmware in an Ecom 100 to be modified so that the Modbus listen port can be set to something beside 502?

Well, technically, it already can. There is a configuration data type that, if set, will allow it to listen on up to 10 ports. As of this moment, there isn't a publicly available way to set that data type. We would have to add it to NetEdit or the ECOM100s web page.

I would use this ability if it was added to the ECOM100. I have done this will all my Do-More PLCs.
