Title: Tuning a PID loop in a Do More
Post by: Henryp on November 24, 2014, 07:14:28 PM
Is there a manual or technote for Do More PID loop tuning available?

If you can do a trend you can tune it, right?

The 250 user manual had a nice write up, it made the process of tuning a loop easier.

We retrofitted the controls on an old heat treating furnace a few months back. We are using the Do More for temp control. We have done a lot of PID with the DL 205/260's and I always manually tune them, I tried the auto tune on the Do More and it nailed it the first time.

I haven't done a Do-More PID yet but should be soon, so that's good to know, JW.
