Title: Announcing the release of Do-more 1.1

Do-more Version 1.1 consists of both a new version of Designer programming software and a new version of firmware for all existing H2-DM1 and H2-DM1E CPUs.  Note that both of these upgrades are FREE.  Actually, they're also free if you are new to Do-more (there's a free built-in Do-more PLC simulator that installs with Designer that lets you "kick the tires" and try out Do-more before purchasing any hardware).

This installation program also installs the latest firmware files which can then be downloaded to your DM1 CPUs using the Designer software.

Here are some highlights:

• Ethernet I/O - built-in support for over 4,000 discrete or analog I/O points (available on DM1E models which have a built-in Ethernet port). Ethernet I/O shows up in the native X, Y, WX, and WY I/O image register data-blocks along side your local base's I/O.  See Updates.pdf (http://forum.hosteng.com/wndm/updates.pdf) for more details.
• Built-in support for up to 16 GS-EDRV100 devices.
• New I/O System View shows your I/O System hierarchically in a tree view organized by Master/Base/Slot, along with detailed runtime Warning and Error information when Online.
• New Ethernet I/O Monitor window provides live Ethernet and Ethernet I/O communication quality statistics.
• Added support for the advanced capabilities in the more-intelligent analog modules (F2-8AD4DA-1, F2-8AD4DA-1, Terminator Analog Output/Combo modules).
• New Instructions

  • DNSLOOKUP – Name to IP Address
  • GSREGRD - GS EDrive Register Read and GSREGWR - GS EDrive Register Write
• Better support for Tag-Centric development by supporting Nickname sorting options in element-centric Cross Reference and Documentation Editor views.
• Smarter pasting of ladder rungs across code-blocks, and smarter copying of code-blocks within the same project and across to other projects.
