Title: DNLoader -where do it put the files

DNLoader -where does it put the files.  I did a read PLC over ethernet worked but where is the file(s)?

It's wherever you tell it. It doesn't write files until you select Write Files, which prompts you for the location.

Thanks BobO. Once I got the courage to try it yes I find it ask for location to save *.dat file.  So question is will that pull everything from PLC including current values? Or would backup project be better in Directsoft  to get everything from PLC including current values?

It reads all retentive memory values.
