What I get from the program:
On a non-special day you want screen 1 to be showing
On a special day you want that screen to be showing.
Do you do anything else with the screen?
Please call, it will be faster.

Still not quite right... Now it just says "Welcome to the .......'s" all the time. I am going to try and set up another 10 minute timer that starts when the door opens and latches. At the end of 10 minutes it will load screen 99 which i will go in and 'black' it out. So then when the door is opened/closed the timer will hopefully reset. See any problems with this logic Mr. Carlton? Thanks again Chris

Sorry to not have much for others on this thread. Chris called me and we went through some possibilities. It's a PLC <-> HMI command/response problem. I'll try to give a more helpful summary when we get things worked out. But Chris is under the gun. Tomorrow is a birthday. The big test.

Yes I must say... Sorry it took so long.... Mr Carlton is one awesome person. This genleman was the most patient with me out of several different "problem solvers". AD,AVG, and even a personal friend SI could not make this as Bernie calls it relatively simple project work. The only mistake Mr. Carlton made was giving me his home number. (J/K i would never abuse without pm'ing first). Again Mr Carlton thank you for taking time out of your day to help someone you dont even know. BTW you have a PM! Chris

Mr Carlton it did work in a sense. It did bring up the B-day screen- very nice. If manually operate the hmi to a different screen and then open door it comes back to the b-day screen. Now i have another 12 days to work more bugs out till the next b-day. It never goes to the welcome screen however. Now i am thinking.... open door start 10 minute timer and LD welcome screen. At the end of 10 minutes open up that path with a c bit and let any other possible message screen be loaded ie B-day screen, alarm screen, etc. etc. Chris

I'm glad I could help a little. Though I was using the phone call as an excuse to ignore my lawn. But, unfortunately, the call ended and I had to face my duty anyway. I hope you get your project to where you want it.
