Wireless and ECOMs

Looking for info on wireless connectivity.
What luck am I likely to have using a wireless network card to connect to an AP that has an ECOM hardwired?
Out of the box tests giving an intermittent communication errors when programming the PLC.
Monitoring the PLC with Lookout and DirectLogiceither give sporadic communication errors.
Both scenarios work, just with occasional errors.
Any suggestions of timing or other tweaks that might improve reliability?
Any and all comments welcome.

I have been having the same results. I spoke to Host about how I have my network set up and didn't get much help. It all works but I have a high error rate. Our IT guoup thinks the problem is in the wireless side handling the UDP broadcast. If you find a solution I would realy like to know.
