hello all
I need to know what the max cable length is for the c-more screen? I am biulding a home alarm sys.
and the plc is in the basement but c-more must be by front door this is about 20 feet,i tryed to get
the plc as close as i could. Huh

That greatly depends on the type of communication you are using and the baudrate:
     - RS232?
     - RS422?
     - RS485?
     - Ethernet?

Sorry i did not say what plc i was hooking it up to AD 205 (240 WITH RS232C ports). Thanks for the reply.

With RS232C, and a good quality cable (shielded w/good ground), and not much electrical noise (which in a house there normally wouldn't be), then you can go about 50 feet. Right at this point, and/or a little more and the signal starts to seriously deterioate. So, going 20 feet in your case should not be a problem.
