I'm new to the Automation Direct PLC's.  I need to measure the speed of a device that has a an output of 5VDC and a frequency of 0Hz-100Hz.  I'm not sure which mode would be best to chose.  Any help would be great.

Thanks

before we press on with suggestions, are you planning to use the onboard high speed inputs? or using the h0-ctrio module?

if it's the onboard hsio inputs, you're probably better off posting on the automationdirect.com forum, as that is their hardware, not ours.

if it the h0-ctrio module, you're at the right place.

Yes, I am using the onboard high speed inputs.  I believe I've got figured out now.  Sorry, I thought AD and Host eng. were one in the same.
