Thanks for listening.  Keep my needs in mind as you go about the next design cycle.  Not everything out there is stepper position control.

Really I can almost do this with the current CTRIO if I keep the PPR down to a manageable speed, but the duration timer must not wait for the current count to be picked up by the PLC, it must already be timing the next duration so that I don't keep missing counts (pipeline it).

This sort of thing was easier to do with microcontrollers but I want only off-the-shelf hardware.
