I'm just new here...
What is the easiest way to get involve with this king of software…
I have many years of experience programming rslogix but here I’m dead in the water…
Is there a “getting started” manual for basic programming…
Where does the inputs and outputs are defined? What about the b3.0 or n7.0 and t4.0 and branches?

I have written a 'handholding' part of my site for AB->DirectSOFT migration. Go to www.thePLCguy.com and scroll down to the 'handholding' link. Others have found it helpful.

There is also a 'Getting Started' guide which should have come with the software but is available for download at AutomationDirect.

An output is a PLC's way of getting its inputs to change.
