Dear Sir,
I have Koyo DL240 PLC. This PLC is getting power ON but its communication port (RJ port COM1/COm2) ports neither communicate with PC /Directsoft (or Operator Display device).
What could be the possibility, Is it PLC COMM port /hardware problem, please advice.
Regards,
Prashant

the list of possibilities that cause directsoft-to-plc comm problems is pretty extensive. my first suggestion is to go through the things listed in directsoft's faq0013. this faq is the culmination of several years of troubleshooting serial and ethernet comm problems.

Good design costs a lot. Bad design costs even more.
