Hello,

I have a DL05 and a F0-2D2DA-2 (analog 2in-2out)

When I plug in the card I loose communication with the PLC, I have no wire terminated on the card (I tried it both ways with and without)

Is there something I am missing?? I have the jumpers set to 5V in and 10V out, but as I said even with no wires or 24vdc I can not see the PLC

I have to remove the card and cycle power then it starts working again... just with out the card??

Thanks
Mark

I would check the pins on the module and the connector on the DL05. It sounds like something's getting shorted on install. Does the CPU 'PWR' light stay on when the module is installed?

By the way, since this is a Facts product then this isn't really the appropriate place to post. You might be better off at the AD site.

An output is a PLC's way of getting its inputs to change.

Thanks Bernie,

I will post over there.

Yes the power light stays on, I also think its a short but its new and I don't see anything... but you never know (I did try it on several 05's and the same with all off them)
