Need a quick comparison of AB's RSLink to DirectSOFT's data acquisition software.
Simple EXCEL sheet with data links to the PLC which are enabled to either read or write data to the PLC; which DirectSOFT package will allow me to accomplish this?

DS Data (DirectSOFT Data) is a program that will allow any application in Windows that utilizes OPC/OLE/DDE to access data in the DL PLCs. Although Automation Direct still sells this package (P/N: PC-DSDATA), they have essentially "replaced" it with KEPDirect for PLCs (P/N: PC-KEPPLC), which does the same thing.
